Hi, I'm Ruby.

At Vestiaire Collective, I help fashion lovers buy and sell pre-loved items with confidence (and I get first dibs on the best deals). Before that, I was the Content Manager & UX Writer at 500 Designs, shaping voice and customer journeys for companies ranging from startups to global brands.

I got my start editing fiction and memoir at Henry Holt & Company. Books I edited were nominated for the Women's Prize for Fiction and the Andrew Carnegie Medal, and Publishers Weekly named me a Star Watch Honoree in 2022. Storytelling and user experience have many parallels: progressive disclosure, make-or-break moments, and endings that deliver (or don't).

Born and raised in Oakland, I now live in Brooklyn with my husband and very energetic husky, Dijon. When not working or reading for book club, I'm usually hanging out in Prospect Park or catching the latest action blockbuster.
